Tom Russillo, Principal, has over twenty years of executive search experience, specializing primarily in the insurance and risk management sector.

He conducts senior level search assignments in a broad cross-section of functions within the Property/Casualty, Health/Welfare and Pension sectors for a variety of organizations. These include insurance and reinsurance companies, major brokers, consulting firms, risk management and employee benefits departments of corporations, third party administrators, and non-traditional risk transfer and alternative risk financing groups.

Specific areas of concentration encompass Executive Management, General Management, Sales and Sales Management, Marketing Management, Underwriting Management, Claims Management, Loss Control Management, Information Technology Management and Risk Management. Prior to starting his search practice, Mr. Russillo was employed by the FM Global Insurance Company (previously Allendale and Factory Mutual Engineering Corporation) from 1967 to 1980 where he held positions in sales, senior account management, loss control and claims management.

Mr. Russillo earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

The Investment Technology Search practice of Russillo/Gardner assists companies in identifying information technology professionals for employment opportunities in the investment/securities industry. Client focus is the securities and financial services industries, its software vendors, and consulting firms - primarily in the Boston area.

Positions range from a Senior Programmer or Business Analyst to Sr. Vice President or Head of Information Systems. Software vendor positions range from Developer to Director of Sales/Marketing to President. Base compensation for these positions generally ranges from $75,000 to $200,000 or more plus incentive compensation.

Rich Gardner has been successfully doing this business in Boston since 1981; prior to that he worked for CSC Index and IBM.
