We think there are two profiles that could work: A hardcore sell high hands-on strategic sales manager out of an enterprise software vendor (Oracle, Seibel, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.) Or a softer approach sales type like a partner out of a consulting firm. In this later case they would have to have strong financial/investment industry knowledge.
Vice President Client Services - $150,000 170,000
This Boston based firm has had significant growth over last couple of years (150 people, 100+ customers, etc.) The position will manage staff of 65 worldwide with focus in North America. Locations: Boston, London, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco. Responsibility includes technical support, implementations, relationship management, help desk, training and documentation. At any given time there are 20-30 implementations in process. Product technology is Java, C++, .net, XML, Oracle, Sybase, SQLServer.
Manager Technical Services, Database Management/Design, Web Services - $150,000 plus bonus
Manage database and web services groups (15-30 people). Oversee migration of this large asset management firms databases from Sybase to Oracle, and develop and manage the firms web strategy and infrastructure.
